The applicant must be employed by a foreign company, own a business, or work as a freelancer providing services to international clients
Proof of remote, foreign-sourced income is required, with a minimum monthly income of €3,040
Employed applicants must provide an employment contract, while freelancers must submit contracts or invoices showing ongoing international work
A clean criminal record in both Portugal and the applicant’s country of residence is required
Valid health insurance covering medical expenses in Portugal

Timelines & Costs
The overall processing time is approximately 12 to 18 weeks, depending on visa appointment availability and consulate processing times
For as little as €10,000, we provide full support for your 5 year temporary residency, including legal documentation, translations, lawyer’s fees, coordination with authorities, embassy preparation, and local setup.
The published fee also includes ongoing support for all temporary residency renewals, compliance requirements, and strategic guidance on future options such as permanent residency or citizenship.
Applications for permanent residency or citizenship are not included and are quoted separately, should you choose to proceed.
